Glossary
Teach the AI agent your plant's terminology.
Every factory has its own language. The same equipment might be called a "blancher" at one plant and a "pre-cooker" at another. The same KPI might be tracked under different names.
The Glossary is a set of term definitions that the agent loads at the start of every conversation. Without it, the agent falls back on generic industrial knowledge. With it, the agent understands your specific vocabulary, your target ranges, and your thresholds.
Example entries:
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Blancher | Water immersion pre-cooking machine on Line 2. Operates at 85-92 degrees. Low temperature indicates a heating element fault. |
| OEE | Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Target is 78% for Line 1, 72% for Line 3. |
| PEF | Pulsed Electric Field unit upstream of the fryer. Used for texture treatment. |
The glossary is also the right place for knowledge that exists only in people's heads: informal names, historical context, and rules of thumb that no manual documents.
